Every update we ship — new carriers, payment options, fixes and improvements — newest first. Recent items also appear in the bell menu in the header.

  1. A much better experience on phones

    UI

    We reworked the whole flow for small screens.

    • Larger tap targets and 16px inputs, so iOS no longer zooms in on every field
    • Payment page shows an Open in wallet app button instead of a hover-only overlay
    • Cart actions are always visible on touch devices; dialogs open as bottom sheets
    • New slide-out menu, tighter spacing, and a clearer step indicator

    We also now block Add to cart when a quoted rate has gone stale after an address change, so the price you see is always the price you pay.

  2. UPS Express Box – Mini added

    Carriers

    By customer request, the UPS Express Box – Mini (8 × 6 × 3 in) is now a one-click package preset.

    UPS only accepts this box on Air and Worldwide Express services, so you'll see it rated against those. Keep the suggestions coming via the feedback button in the corner.

  3. UPS, FedEx and DHL reserve lowered to $500

    The Adjustment Reserve required to buy UPS, FedEx and DHL labels has dropped from $2,000 to $500.

    The reserve covers post-shipment carrier adjustments (weight or dimension corrections billed by the carrier) and can be withdrawn after 30 days without new labels on those carriers. USPS labels never need a reserve and still work with guest checkout. Details in the FAQ.

  4. Tell us what's broken or missing

    There's now a feedback button in the bottom corner of every page. Report a bug, request a carrier or package size, or just tell us what's confusing.

    Email is optional — leave it if you want a reply. Several items in this changelog started as feedback submissions.

  5. Ship from a different ZIP than your return address

    Postage is priced from where a package enters the carrier network, which isn't always the return address printed on the label. You can now declare that separately.

    • At checkout, tick "I'll mail this package from a different ZIP than my return address" and enter the drop-off ZIP
    • Rates and the purchased label are calculated from that ZIP; the return address prints unchanged
    • Also available per batch in bulk CSV uploads and as mailingOriginZip in the API

    Leave it unticked and nothing changes — your return ZIP is used as before. Declaring the correct origin avoids carrier postage-due adjustments.

  6. Customer API v1: keys, prepaid credits and webhooks

    Integrate label purchasing into your own tools with the new REST API.

    • Endpoints: verify address, get rates, purchase, list and retrieve orders
    • Prepaid credits: top up in BTC or XMR once, then buy labels instantly without waiting for a confirmation per order
    • Webhooks: signed order.completed, order.failed and topup.confirmed events with automatic retries
    • Idempotency-Key header on purchases and top-ups, so a retried request never double-charges

    Create a key under Account → API keys and read the API documentation.

  7. USPS padded, legal and small flat-rate envelopes

    Three more USPS Priority Mail flat-rate presets are available in the package selector: the Padded Flat Rate Envelope, Legal Flat Rate Envelope and Small Flat Rate Envelope.

    They're also accepted in bulk CSV uploads; the SmallFlatRateEnvelope alias previously mapped to the regular envelope and has been fixed.

  8. Address autocomplete

    Start typing a street address and pick the match — house number, city, state and ZIP fill in for you. Suggestions use the postal city carriers expect, which cuts down on address-validation failures.

    Lookups go through our own server; no third-party scripts are loaded in your browser.
